Outstanding 2020 FFC’s
This communication is addressed to all estate agents who have applied for a FFC for 2020 but have not received one as yet.
The EAAB announced that they will close for the festive season on the 20th of December 2019 and we are extremely concerned that the FFC’s will not be issued timeously. The final renewal date was 31 October and the EAAB had from that date till now to complete the task – now there are only 10 working days left in the year.

Please do not list general queries in this manner as we are focusing on 2020 FFC renewals – and only where agents have complied with all requirements and where the EAAB has not yet responded.
Please log a query with the EAAB in the first instance and obtain your EAAB online query reference number, as we will not be able to take action without it.
We have already addressed a letter to the CEO of the EAAB in which we demand the issue of all outstanding certificates in lieu of which legal action may follow. In 2017 this had the desired result and we are hopeful that action steps will be taken.
We believe that not one agent that has complied with all the requirements should be denied the right to practise.
All that is required from you is to supply the information required and we will do whatever is possible to ensure that you are in a position to operate legally in the New Year.
