Request for Firm Fidelity Fund Certificate
Due to a system-related issue, some Firm Fidelity Fund Certificates (Firm FFCs) have not yet been issued or uploaded to the PPRA portal.
REBOSA has arranged a dedicated process with the PPRA Registrations Department to assist affected principals. Principals who hold a valid individual Fidelity Fund Certificate may request the issuing of their outstanding Firm FFC by completing the form below.
Once submitted, REBOSA will forward the request directly to a dedicated PPRA registrations officer for processing.
No FFC fee is payable. However, a PPRA administrative fee of R704 must be paid using the Firm (F) PIN. Proof of payment must be attached to the form.
REBOSA has raised serious legal concerns regarding the legitimacy of this requirement and has formally taken the matter up with the PPRA’s legal division. In our view, the imposition of this fee is not supported by the current legislative framework.
REBOSA will pursue all appropriate engagements and remedies to seek the withdrawal of this requirement and, where applicable, the refund of fees paid by affected practitioners. However, we cannot guarantee the outcome or the timeframe of this process. In the interim, and to avoid operational disruption, principals are advised to comply with the PPRA’s directive and make the payment in order to secure the issuance of the Firm FFC required to continue trading.
