The team has also placed first in South Africa macro forecasting at the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) in five of the last seven years. Miyelani has been a professional economist for over 15 years, having joined Absa in 2013, prior to which he was a senior policy analyst at the National Treasury and an analyst at the Bureau for Economic Research (BER).
