The South African Institute of Chartered Accountants (SAICA) is hosting the 2018 Estate Agents Trust Accounts Information Session on 12 April 2018. The information session will cover various matters of interest to auditors of estate agents with respect to their engagements in terms of the Estate Agency Affairs Act.
Thomas Makupo, the Audit Compliance Manager at the Estate Agency Affairs Board, will be making the presentation at the FNB Conference and Learning Centre in Sandton from 8am to 10am on 12 April 2018. The presentation will also be available through webcast, at the same time, for those who are unable to make it to the FNB Conference and Learning Centre in Sandton.
Principals and auditors of estate agencies are encouraged to register for the session by accessing this link on the SAICA website https://www.saica.co.za/brochures/?BrochureId=1568 and reserve their place.
The session is complimentary to SAICA members and trainee accountants. Non-members, however, pay a nominal fee of R200 if they want to attend the presentation at the FNB Conference and Learning Centre, while those who want to access the presentation through webcast will pay a nominal fee of R100.
Principals are encouraged to register for the session and to also bring this communication to the attention of their auditors so that they also register for the session.
