The PPRA is pleased to advise that the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) programme for 2024 is now available.
As part of the commitment to maintaining the highest standards and fostering professional growth within the sector, CPD serves as an essential platform for property practitioners to enhance their skills, stay updated with industry trends, and fulfil their ongoing educational requirements.
The PPRA has amended the CPD policy to allow property practitioners who have written and passed the PDE4 between February and June to participate in the CPD programme within the same calendar year. Additionally, those who have written and passed PDE4 between July and November and have been upgraded to non-principal property practitioner status, will participate in the CPD programme of the following calendar year.
1.Payment Verification: Please ensure that you pay the correct CPD amount and use your seven-digit reference number when enrolling for the programme. The CPD fee for the 2024/2025 financial year is R1 700 per participant. All payment records should be retained to ensure ease of verification in the event of a discrepancy. 2.PDP Completion: To participate in the CPD e-Learning programme, you must have completed your Personal Development Plan (PDP). Double-check that your PDP is up-to-date and aligned with your professional goals.
3.Modules to be Completed: CPD participants are advised that they must complete four CPD modules per calendar year in compliance with the relevant Regulations. Participants will note that more thanfour modules are available for this year to allow participants to choose the modules that they find most relevant to them.
