The Estate Agency Affairs Board (EAAB) has set-up an email hotline to fast-track the issuing of outstanding Fidelity Fund Certificates (FFCs) to legally compliant estate agents.
By 2pm on Tuesday 17 December, 28 767 of the 29 727 applications received from estate agents who applied on time and who are fully compliant, were processed and issued with FFCs.
Estate agents can download the issued FFCs from the EAAB portal.
FFCs of estate agents who are compliant but who paid their levy after the prescribed period of October 31, will be processed by 20 December 2019.
All non-complaint estate agents will be dealt with in due course.
Daily updates will be published on the EAAB website (www.eaab.org.za) and issued to all stakeholders, with the final report being released on 20 December 2019 on which day all valid and compliant FFCs would have been issued.
