If you are still not registered on the FIC’s registration and reporting platform (goAML) this is your last chance to do so.
You can access the FIC’s goAML platform as follows:
- Visit the FIC’s website (www.fic.gov.za) and then clicking on the “Register or Report” banner
- Access the goAML website directly by clicking on the following URL (https://goweb.fic.gov.za/goAMLWeb_PRD)
- Entities that are registering for the first time need to select the “Register As Organisation” option, and complete the form in full and attach the required documentation (i.e. copy of the Compliance Officer’s ID Document and an authorisation form)
- Entities that were previously registered and migrated need to select the “Register As Person” option, insert their allocated goAML Org ID in the “Organisation ID” field, complete the form in full and attach the required documentation (i.e. copy of the Compliance Officer’s ID Document and an authorisation form)
Note: Should your entity have previously successfully registered with the FIC prior to 07 March 2016, the FIC would have allocated and communicated an Organisation Identification Number (goAML Org ID) to be utlised on goAML to access your entity profile, add user accounts and report. Please contact the Compliance Contact Centre on 0860 222 200 if you have not received your Org ID.
Please note that this is the final reminder to all entities to update and verify their entity details on the goAML system.
Penalty
In terms of section 43B of the FIC Act all accountable and reporting institutions (AI/RIs) must register with the FIC. Failure to adhere to this final notice will result in the imposition of a fine in the amount of at least R5000.
