| The Services SETA has launched a customer-centric outreach drive for the Real Estate and Related Services Fraternity. This is due to the upcoming PPRA compliance deadline, our main focus is to ensure that our industry complies with the set deadline to acquire NQF level 4 and 5 – Real Estate Occupational Qualifications. The scheduled 2-hour Friday session aims to assist all Real Estate SDP’s and Host companies in line with the PPRA requirements moreover realise the full benefits of the Skills Development Agenda as active participants.
Your participation will enable the Services SETA to consider a prompt turn-around time for all External Moderation requests to be reasonable and consistent with the Quality Assurance Policy and Procedure, noting the next set deadline for PDE’s as 8 May 2023, consequently, we request all entities that has requested the External Moderation to give details of the total numbers and geographical spreads to enable the Services SETA to allocate additional resources, accordingly, the Real Estate and related Services Chamber has requesting a workable solution from the PPRA to consider weekly PDE’s leading to the set deadline to enable compliance, easy transitioning, and transformation.
Furthermore: As we all know our current unit standards-based qualifications have been phased out and replaced with occupational certificates. It’s essential for all our stakeholders to understand what this means for them as these older qualifications are now labelled as historically registered qualifications or legacy qualifications. The phasing out is well under way and all SDPs should have started the transition to being an accredited QCTO provider than run the risk of being left behind.
It is therefore essential that Skills Development Providers (SDPs) to make the change from being a SETA registered provider to being a QCTO accredited provider. We therefore encourage all the SDPs in the Real Estate fraternity to take advantage of this opportunity by joining this session.
