Welcome to our May report.
Please take special note of the final CPD payment and registration deadline as well as the new FICA registration process.
We have also included a memorandum on FICA for your perusal.
Multi Stakeholder Group (“MSG”)
The Multi Stakeholder Group was established to provide a platform for all stakeholders to engage meaningfully with the EAAB. The MSG meets regularly and we have found that this consultative approach is the best way to address the industry’s challenges with the EAAB and get positive results. We have already achieved some successes e.g. the granting of an extension for CPD payments to 31 May and the electronic issuing of FFCs.
At our recent meeting it was confirmed that the EAAB will be providing more CPD contact sessions around the country. We will let you know as soon as we receive the list of new dates and venues.
We take all our queries to this meeting to have resolved so please email us on email@example.com if you need any particular issues addressed.
Final CPD Payment
Please be reminded that the final deadline for CPD registration and payment is tomorrow, 31 May 2016. If you have not already done so, please make payment and complete your Personal Development Plan on your MyCPD portal. The EAAB will not grant a further extension and failure to comply could result in you not being issued with your FFC.
We believe there are still agents who have not completed their Personal Development Plans or made use of the catch up period to obtain their points for the 2015 CPD Cycle. Please go onto your MyCPD portal to ensure you are registered, your PDP plan is complete and your outstanding points uploaded.

You are further advised to ensure that detail of the estate agency and that of the agent on your MyEAAB Agents Portal on the EAAB website is correct. Should you find any errors please advise the EAAB accordingly as discrepancies may delay the issuing of FFC’s.
Proof of renewal payments should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org Please ONLY use your 7 digit EAAB Number as reference when making payment.
This serves as a further reminder that FFCs can be downloaded electronically from your agent portal on the EAAB website.
